Owners Rebecca Madsen and Kay Huber have extensive experience in the childcare industry. Rebecca formally began her career in early childhood education as a Teacher in 2005 & eventually grew into the role of Director while in 2002 Kay began her career as a Teacher’s Aide and eventually became an Administrative Assistant. In 2018 with a spirit of enthusiasm, excellence & entrepreneurship the two jumped at the opportunity to purchase an established childcare center here in Owatonna. While the business retained the Cedar Kids name, select staff and many loyal clientele families, owners Rebecca and Kay set off on a new course to serve the community by increasing the scope of the center’s services and fostering new growth.
